Who Are We?
Scripture Union is a volunteer organisation that sees Christians of many denominations working together to introduce children, young people and families to Jesus, the Bible and the local church. SUFMs seek to do that by bringing together a team of people from many different backgrounds and from various Christian churches to bring the good news of Jesus to lots of different locations in NSW. Most SUFMs run from just after Christmas until the 5th or 6th of January.
This is one such team. We come to Hallidays Point every year to provide a program for the whole family.
In an unobtrusive way we attempt to offer opportunities for questions, discussion, sharing and relationship in which you can explore the Bible’s claims about Jesus. We believe that God, the creator of the universe, wants to be in relationship with us. We believe he has made this possible through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We at SUFM would love to share with you something of our own relationship with God and we love to meet and get to know new people. So if you would like to talk to any of us at any time, please drop into the SUFM site for a coffee and a chat. Many of our events and activities are for the whole family while others are for different age groups.
We will also try to come and visit you! To find us look for the red and white Scripture Union Family Mission banners. We also wear identity tags with our photo and names stating we are SUFM team members. Please say G’day to us!
